We were founded in 1999 by our CEO, Michael Johnson, as Future Community Services, Inc. — known today as the HOALiving Network. Our purpose was to meet the growing real estate management needs along Utah’s Wasatch Front. Originally based in West Jordan, our 20,000 square-foot corporate headquarters now operates beside I-15 in Draper. Additionally, we now have staff and offices located in Ogden, Salt Lake City, Park City, Tooele, Provo, Cedar City, St. George and Rigby and Boise, Idaho.
We are the recognized leader in association management in Utah and Idaho because of our highly educated and professional managers and staff, as well as our emphasis on ethics and excellence in customer service.
Our owner and CEO, Michael Johnson, grew up on the move as a US Navy brat. Some of his favorite trips were to visit family in Utah and Idaho (both of Michael’s parents hailed from eastern Idaho). Beginning in January 1991 as a student at BYU, Michael has lived in Provo, the Avenues in Salt Lake City, West Jordan, and South Jordan—while also spending lots of family time at second homes in St. George, Utah and Island Park, Idaho. In 1996, Michael and his family purchased their first home, a West Jordan townhome in local-Utah-homebuilder Bryson Garbett’s first development. In 1997, Michael was elected to be the first President of their townhome homeowner’s association (HOA). And, just two years later, in 1999, Michael took the leap and started HOA community management full time. As they say, the rest is history.
